All are welcome to join for the kickoff event for the Religious Action Center - Illinois.

From the organizers:
For the past six months we have listened and shared stories about where we feel the brokenness of the world. Over 300 RAC-IL participants have shared stories, felt the power of connecting and learned about our community’s biggest concerns. Join us as we reveal the shared priorities that RAC-IL has identified. You will be the “first to know” the issues that we will address through our organizing and advocacy efforts. Come and learn the issues that were most commonly expressed, how we will work with other allies on fashioning a campaign to address those issues, and how you can use the tools of congregational organizing to encourage others to support the change we hope to achieve. Everyone can find a role to play in transforming our communities.

To sweeten our celebration "The Original Rainbow Cone Ice Cream" will be served to all!
