Rabbi Cosnowsky, Rabbi Wainer, and Marla Aviva Bentley will be holding space at CEC for all who need to gather, cry, pray, sing, and support one another during this difficult time. Our time will begin together, and will then be followed by separate processing opportunities for adults and kids/teens. This will be in-person only.

For those who are not able to attend in person, you can join the JCFS’ Grieving the Death of a Loved One: an Evening of Support, at the same time via Zoom. This event will include music and poems for healing, reflections on the grieving process, and a personal grief journey illuminating paths to healing.

JCFS also has a wonderful online toolkit called “Guide for the Grieving: A Toolkit for Navigating Loss”, that can be used for the private grief process.

These opportunities are in addition to the funeral service on Friday, June 7 at 1:00 PM, and the shiva from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM with a shiva minyan at 2:30 PM, and Shabbat services at 6:30 PM, where we will say Kaddish for Rachel.
