Make 'plarn' (plastic yarn) from grocery bags. The 'plarn' will be used to make water-resistant sleeping mats for people without access to shelter in the Chicagoland area.

Help decorate and fill bags for local kids and teens in foster care (so they don't have to use garbage bags).
Bridge Communities: 
Create birthday, thank you, and get well cards for those in this local transitional housing program to give to others.
