About Alan Wolsky:
Like others who grew up in post WWII America, Alan Wolsky remembers the fear of nuclear attack, McCarthyism, and how one fed the other. Later, Wolsky studied physics and then worked at Argonne National Lab, where he managed projects, evaluated others, and became familiar with parts of the US Department of Energy as well as similar agencies in other countries.
