Brotherhood BBQ and Bon Voyage Fundraiser

Sunday, May 4, 2025 6 Iyar 5785

11:45 AM - 1:00 PM

As we prepare for our annual end of the school year Brotherhood Barbecue on Sunday, May 4, we have a special opportunity to honor and say farewell to Karen and John Butterfield, long-time congregants. They are embarking on a new chapter in their lives, as they are making Aliyah, moving to Israel!

Karen and John have given immeasurable time, energy, and heart to our congregation. Their leadership has strengthened our community in countless ways. While we are sad to say l’hitraot (we’ll see you later) to the Butterfields, we are excited to celebrate Karen’s legacy as our outgoing president and both of them as dedicated volunteers. We could not think of a better way to honor their commitment than by asking our community to champion the future of our congregation. Can we count on your support?

Three ways we are asking you to help reach our goal of $22,000 and close our budget gap:

  1. Make a donation at one of the sponsorship levels (see below for more information).
  2. Participate in a special raffle at the Brotherhood Barbecue for specific prizes (or contribute some items to help us build a basket)
  3. Spread the word and bid on our online auction over the week leading up to the event (or contribute some items to the auction) -- more information coming soon!

You do not need to register to attend this event.

If you have any questions, please reach out to fundraising@mycec.org
