Aaron Robbin brings a deep passion for community building, education, and operational excellence to his role as Executive Director at Congregation Etz Chaim. With nearly two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, Aaron previously served as Executive Director of BBYO Passport, where he oversaw international Jewish travel programs, strategic partnerships, recruitment, and a $10M budget. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale operations, developed curriculum, and empowered staff and volunteers to grow and thrive.
Aaron holds an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, a Master’s in Education from DePaul University, and a B.S. in Entrepreneurship from Bradley University. He also earned a certificate in Experiential Jewish Education from M²: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education.
In addition to his work in the Jewish community, Aaron is a certified chronic pain coach, working with private clients through Lin.Health to help people reclaim their lives from pain. An experienced educator and youth leader, he has taught in public schools, served as a youth and adult educator, and volunteered for years as a BBYO advisor and youth sports coach. He believes in leading with purpose, creativity, and care, and loves finding opportunities for joyful, meaningful Jewish experiences.
